2nd Annual Jesus Revolution Baptism

I think this year’s Harvest Crusade may be my favorite we have done in our 35 year history. At the very least, it would be in my top 3. It was a special, beautiful night.

Then we had another amazing event on July 27. At the second annual Jesus Revolution Baptism at Pirate’s Cove, we baptized 2,000 people. How amazing. We had 65 pastors, deacons, and elders assisting us.   

One year ago, we baptized 4,500 people; I didn’t think 2,000 more would come to be baptized this time. It amazes me that in twelve months, we’ve baptized 6,500 people! It’s incredible. 

And where is this happening? It’s happening in California! So many people are so quick to write our state off. They can’t get out of here fast enough, but I see that God is working.

As you know, the last great spiritual awakening, the Jesus Movement, happened in California. We’re praying, “Lord, do it again.” But no matter where He does it, I want to be a part of it.

I want to thank every one of you who helped. Hundreds of you volunteered and we did it together. You make such a difference. At Harvest Ministries, we love to worship, we love to learn, but we also love to serve. There’s so much joy in serving the Lord together.
